Plot Summary:Ivanka, a student at the worker's faculty and the young worker Zhelyazko are in love. At first Mrs. Cleopatra, Ivanka's mother is hostile to her daughter's boyfriend. She agrees to her marriage Zhelyazko only after learning that he has won a prize of forty thousand leva. However, she is disturbed by the news that her future son-in-law intend to put thirty thousand leva of the prize money into internal state loan bonds. In spite of Mrs. Cleopatra feigned heart attack, Ivanka and Zhelyazko have already decided to get married.
